About the Estate

In the fall of 2019 we set forth on a new adventure. After living in the Myrtle Beach area for the majority of our lives, we decided to pack up and move to the country with our 4 children. Having been in the long term property management business for over a decade, we were no strangers to rentals or real estate. With dreams of opening short term rental cabins along with an event venue, the minute we saw the property, we knew that this place would be the perfect spot to fulfill those fantasies. 

The moment we turned off Copperhead Road and began traveling down the long driveway that was lined with mature Bradford pear trees we knew this would be the spot. We felt as if it was something you would see in a movie. When we arrived at the house, that was the first time we saw the large beautiful Laurel Oak tree. The Oak tree is a symbol of strength and knowledge, two characteristics we wish to pass to our children. Strength to push through when things get difficult, and knowledge to realize that dreams without goals are only dreams.

From the time we moved to our estate our children have been involved in the creation of Laurel Oaks Estate. Our whole family has played a part of clean up around the property, making trails in the forest, construction of our first glamping tent, and even the designs and layout ideas through the estate. This truly is a family run business that was designed, built, and run by our family and great friends.

Our dream is to share our labor of love with all those who will appreciate its beauty. To share it with people who choose to spend life’s most beautiful moments at Laurel Oaks Estate. To those who wish to get a break from their hectic daily routine and experience the true peacefulness and beauty of nature.
